"We came from Ottawa to spend a couple of days and enjoyed are mini get-away. The price of the hotel is excellent if you're paying with US dollars, however, when converting to Canadian dollars, it's a different story. I work at the Delta Ottawa Hotel and am able to get hotel rooms in Canada at a much cheaper rate. However, all this said, we still loved Lake Placid and would return in a heart beat.
I loved the lighting in the bathroom. Not too many hotels have good lighting.
Just one comment about the pillows....it would be nice to have a couple extra pillows in the room. We had a king bed with 3 pillows. Two pillows/person would be ideal.
